The line side of this switch is being prepared as you can see. The other end of the cutout's lead-in wire was subsequently connected to the live or "hot" phase via a fiberglass "hot stick" tool. From there, the door to the fuse cutout was closed, thus provided a steady flow of electrons to its customers ;-)
