A lucky find along a closed railway in eastern Germany. Various styles of porcelain telephone and telegraph insulator, rescued from cut down poles... somebody needed some poles, so he cut them and abandoned the crossarms on the ground. The manufacture date of three insulators is 1984; in the DDR telegraph and telephone lines were not only still in use, but spare parts were manufactured to repair the lines.
