These towers were built in the late 20s or early 30s for electric supply in southeastern MA soon after generation was completed in Somerset and Brayton Point, MA.

These older plants (as seen) are still providing electricity to the grid here in southeast MA.. The lines as you see them remain pretty much the same and feed into National Grid transmission and ultimately into the S.E. Mass ISO-NE (Independent Service Operator-New England) electric transmission infrastructure.
