Bulk amounts of electricity is traded back and forth between Independent Service Operator (ISO) New York (ISO-NY) and ISO (New England) (ISO-NE) 24/7 upon lines like this. Estimated transmission capacity of this line is around 1600-2000 MW. Wow!!
