I am showing a Cobalt U-292 Hartford Faience and a Carmel U-297 Hartford Faience for comparison. The U-292 measures in at 3 1/4" X 3 1/2" H which is correct in the "Jack Tod" 3rd addition guide. The problem is the U-297 [carmel] Hartford Faience measures in at 3 1/4" X 3 3/8" H. The guide say's it should be 3 5/8" H. Now that's a full 1/4" short ? There is a distinctly wider wire grove to the cobalt U-292 so I assume I am identifing them correctly or am I. The guide book is very distinct as to the height of these guy's and measures in 1/8" incriments. What do you think the carmel one is ?
