By request... here is a picture of my CD 247 shown next to the photos from an auction item that has generated some discussion on ICON. I tried to duplicate the camera angles used in the auction photos as much as possible. I think they show that the item being sold is a CD 247 with the top popped off. The second photo down looks like the crown of mine is smaller than the missing crown on the auction item... this is an illusion caused by my camera being farther away than the camera on the reference photo. I did this because when I was as close as the auction item photo the crown was so close to the camera that it looked really weird and obscured part of the rest of the top. The auction item photos are all taken with the camera too close to the item to give a good perspective, which may be part of why this item has been so difficult to recognize.
