Thanks to Billy Ewing, I now know what U.S. power insulator the Japanese NGK company copied to get this U-876 version. This NGK type also came in brown glaze. I have one but no picture of it. They are plentiful on my utility in sky-yuk color. This one had a bit of a salt air flashing problem and yes, that ridge pin its on WAS galvanized once upon a time!
