We took a hit with a remote-detonated IED in an ambush designed to pin the convoy down. A common tactic employed by the enemy. No one on our team was hurt in the explosion or ensuing firefight. These MRAPs (Mine Resistant Armored Personnel carriers) are designed to take such blows without terminal damage. This one was trucked back to base, repaired, and put back into the fight.
