Compression from TIF to JPG format causes some loss of sharpness. The original scan is over 20 MB. You'll want to use "view original" to read the text on this map.

Please note that the black lines representing abandoned railroads are displaced a bit north of their actual locations. I suspect they had problems with paper positioning during printing.

This copy of the book is hard bound, dated 1974, and somewhat difficult to scan. I have just bought a second, paperback copy so that I can cut off the spine and scan the individual pages, if there is interest.
