Definately NOT fun in the slightest, however, impressive to see a photo just as it happens. This photo was taken just as the initial wave makes landfall in Natori, Miyagi prefecture in Japan. Note the cars still neatly parked, yet the devastation of flats and homes close behind and approaching fast. My inlaws live in Tottori perfecture and fortunately, they're on the West side of Honshu against the sea of Japan. They live about 5-600 miles from the epicenter of the quake, so I am sure they had to feel some of this. We have yet to hear from them and I am hoping they're ok over there. There's a lot of missing people and I am sure more yet to be noted as missing. |
