Before Portland (OR.) Traction Co. ceased all passenger service in 1958, they ran several special runs just for railfans and others interested in a 'last ride'. As a kid, I was lucky enough to ride on one. Here car 4007. a boomer car from Fonda, NY, is one of the cars used on a special run. They are flying the time honored white flags, indicating that is an extra or special train. Today, this car is gone, most of the track is gone, most of the riders are gone and I am working on it ! No, that is not me in the doorway ;)
