The other day I received a shipment of insulators from Australia. Just ordinary looking insulators, but when I put them on the display racks in the Insulator field, something just looked different, and then I saw it. And that is the amazing part, because these were the second lot of mis-spelled Australian Made In Occupied Japan insulators I found in 2 days.

The insulators measure 3 3/4 inches high, and 3 inches across the base.

As you can see, the word occupied is mis-spelled on the 2 insulators on the right. Somehow they managed to spell it " Ocoupied ". I've never seen this spelling error before, and have never heard of it being reported in the hobby.

Please check your Australian insulators to see if you have this spelling error in your collection, or if you have found any other unusual spellings in the Australian Made In Occupied Japan insulators.
