Just arrived these four insulators: a couple flat crosstop beznau, one unmarked, the other dating 1953 (true!), a small LV porcelain, and a small (unfortunately damaged) spook marked LIGURE. The two small ones have a cemented pin inside. Being also described in the 1912 RICHARD GINORI catalog, the beznau style has been in production for not less than 4 decades.... nothing bad at all! UPDATE: I've just seen that pin is fix using plaster... i'm keeping the insulators into a hot water bath, then I dig using an old screwdriver: it's easy 'cause the pin it's not massive and I've space to work safely |
