These were found under an abandoned railroad Signal Shed. Anyone seen these before, or know what their intended use might have been. They kind of remind me of a smaller version of the old heater pots used in orchards to keep killing frosts at bay. It's basically a fuel (probably Kerosene) reservoir with large adjustable wick.
