Another real classic down the road from the last pole shown. The line takes a sharp right turn and heads from north to east on this pole. The pole is a lesson in old school line construction done by Mountain States Power Co. Note the dead end guy wires wrapped around the pole and clamped instead of using eye bolts. Also done on the 'helper' pole (that the co-op managed to sneak their line under!) One can see 2 sets of double arm dead ends with strings of suspension disks on the crossarms and a couple of 3 part multiparts for the jumpers. Truth be told, all this could have been accomplished with only 6 sets of suspension bells mounted to the pole vertically in both directions! But it wouldn't look as neat as this spectacle still standing near Elmira, OR.!
