It is apparent that these guys are very particular about the condition of the bases and drip points on their insulators, so they are giving them a careful and thorough examination ;-) THis particular activity also involved pouring some mysterious amber-colored liquid (which definitely was NOT Edison Battery Oil) into the upturned insulators ;-) Perhaps this was an ellectrical leakage test ;-)
