Next thing he knew, he was surrounded and about to be taken down.

Nater has a thing about "Mounties" whether they be in their dress or work uniforms.

There is some talk about him joining the force when he grows up, but he also wants to be a Fireman, Astronaut, and a Dinosaur Paleo-Archeologist, and half a dozen other neat things. An insulator collector, maybe not. I think maybe his Mom has convinced him that Grampa already got all the good ones.
