The test crossarm for the Paintsulator U-880-A's is mounted outdoors on one of my yard poles. These will be up for about a year to observe any weathering, deterioration or whatever. I am waiting for a hailstorm, which I think would be a good test! I had noticed that they were more hygroscopic than porcelain glaze in the rain but could get them to drip better by painting the brush strokes vertically on the outer side of the shells rather than horizontal strokes. Anyhow, it is great fun and a good way to enjoy retirement. Our motto here at Mill Stack Poweryard is: "Sky Yuk No More" ! |
