"Park it over there son, park it over there, and if you give me a hard time, I'll use the fish on you." That was my greeting at Adams river. That and a huge big smile. There were at least 9 volunteers out directing traffic in the parking lot, and each was using a Sockeye salmon cutout to wave you in and keep you moving to your assigned location. A good bunch of guys giving their time in aid of Salmon conservation. We arrived early, and the parking lots were already half full. Capacity is better than 5,000 cars. I think the guys waving the wooden salmon did a super job |
