After seeing Pat Scott posting his night shot of Union Pacific 3985 in St Louis, (I knew he would post something). I thought I would share a couple shots from my trip west from Ohio to photograph this incredible engine. Union Pacific has to be the friendliest railroad when it comes to running mainline steam. The trips were running east to west which made lighting very difficult most of the day. Second shot is 65mph plus through Roscoe, Nebraska. October 14, 2010
