...and here's another 1 gallon. This one has the stippled outer surface. I would think that the "12" on this bottle would indicate the year (1912). If that's the case, perhaps this bottle isn't a Lynchburg product although the embossing sure appears to be. It is a beautiful dark yellow green color and also has the original tin cap.
