This little wagon was made in Millbury Ma. about 100 years ago and was used by a friend's grandmother to bring home the groceries. It was made so that after shopping at the local general store, the lady of the house[ who happened to live by a railroad ] would load her groceries into her basket and on to the two wheeled cart and pull it along the rail while walking back to her home. The wheels are made of some kind of hard wood. No sign of the handle? Early American Inginuity at work.
