I have a serious problem. Where I live, there are many, many lines with abandoned insulators, good ones, one being a jade h. g. co 164 and a light yellow 160 cali. I have all the tools a collector could want, gaffs, lanyard, lineman's ratchet wrench, picker etc. But that doesn't do me any good if someone's going to call the cops when they see you touch a pole. No insulator in my book is worth going to jail for.

Has anyone had any luck regarding the legality issue? Any methods of paper work you can obtain from your utility company? Thanks in advance.
