I generally tolerate, and even like, most snakes. Except for the venomous ones which like to hang out near my front steps. This one is currently resting quietly in peace... Approx 30 inch long Copperhead (agkistrodon contortrix mokasen), which was crawling around much too close to my front steps last night, when I returned home.

Got another one on the driveway, (24 inches in length) on Sept 16th, but I won't bother posting any photos, it's a tad too gory... This was a full length, head-on "squeeze" - just visualize what would happen, if one were to stomp hard on a two -oot long tube of pink and red toothpaste, ;-P
