This severe storm blew up on the evening of 6/20/2010 over Waterloo, IL. The rare, un-hazy Saint Louis Summer evening made for a decent view of the storm from my neighbor's driveway. The storm was about 12-14 miles away. For you weather nerds, it was formed on an outflow boundary from another storm that died in Iron County, MO about an hour before. This storm also created an outflow that was responsible for a storm in Madison County, IL about an hour later. After that, the evening quieted down. Surely there are some weather weenies on here, right? |
