Zion - Angel's Landing razorback ridge climb

After the wiggly switchback climb, this is the next little obstacle facing those who would climb to the top of Angel's Landing. It's a 1000 foot drop on either side. Use "view original" and scroll up for a virtual climb. Frankly, I'm surprised the Park Service allows anyone to climb up here. There were literally hundreds of people clambering up this thing, including grandmas and little kids. It was kind of surreal. Surely, somebody must fall off this thing from time to time. Perhaps it is a government sanctioned method of thinning the herd?
