Here's a view of our campsite, looking up-canyon. We found an idyllic flat with the biggest cottonwood tree in the canyon. It was epic to awaken each morning and look up at the towering canyon walls. We stayed in this site the whole time, and took a series of dayhikes in all directions to explore the canyon. Oh yes, we had to hang up our food in the tree so the mice and squirrels wouldn't eat everything we had!
