This is my introductory notice that I will now be assigning numbers to Lightning Rod Insulators. The LR numbers will be in blocks of one hundred to two hundred. In this photo on the top shelf the left two are Side Tabs, and will fall in the LR #100-299 area. The third from left is a Spool style, it will be in the LR #300-399 area. The next two are Single Groove styles, and will fall in the LR #400-499 range. The two in the upper right are Cross Tops and they will fall in the LR # 500-599 set. Lower shelf: The left two are Blocks and will be in the LR #600-699 range. The next five are various 'miscellaneous' styles, including ALL Otis styles will be in the LR #700-999 range. I will include LR #s with my future LRI postings. The numbers will hold, but can be 'tweaked' over time if needed. The basic numbering pattern has been set for over 28 years now!
