Here is one of the most popular early Brookfields. This CD 133 is strongly embossed W. BROOKFIELD over 6 over 55 FULTON ST over N.Y. On the reverse is CAUVET'S over PAT over JULY 25 1865. Very bold mold line and neat swirl from base of skirt to begining of threads. Two tiny base flakes is all the damage I see.
