I stopped by one of my favorite antique stores today (I keep this one a secret). This place is like American Pickers on Steriods and would take at least two weeks to fully check the place out. Anyway, I was poking around the outside looking at dozens of common insulators, when I spotted something sticking out of the leaves on the ground. It was an LRI with the tie wire still attached. I dug it out, brushed it off and realized that I may have a great find! I took the LRI inside and asked, "so, how much does something like this go for?" The answer was $1.00! After getting home and cleaning it up, I found that it is an icey green aqua with vails of purple throughout! There is also a purple potstone in the bottom! This one reminds me of those CD 151's that are an icey aqua with purple swirls in the dome. Even with the damage, this is a top shelf find! |
