Russian 10.75 inch glass suspension sold as a 'fog style, special profile'. Produced by different manfactures in only one size but pictures show it in several colours, aqua, blue-aqua and greenish. It uses a W shaped locking key.

[id=268376128] shows this style in use, although I'm not too sure if this makes the best use of their special profile. Also provides a good look at some Russian line hardware .

. From a manfacture's website I found this description. Minimum Strength: 70 kN Weight: 4,6 kg . glass linear suspension insulator PDS-70s (for areas with high degree of pollution of the atmosphere) is used for electrical insulation and fixing the wires and ground wire overhead transmission lines and switchyard substation high voltage 6-500 kV. . At high power lines high voltage applied garlands, composed of sequentially connected by a hinge means insulators PDS-70s. Number of insulators PDS-70s in the garland is determined by voltage class lines, construction of supports, the type of insulator, the operating conditions. . On wooden poles at a voltage of 35 kV put two suspended prison PDS-70s in garland; on metal poles - one or two more prison. . Number of suspension insulators PDS-70s for VL 6-35 kV is chosen regardless of the height above sea level. . To avoid inadvertent decoupling garlands rod in a groove of fixed caps lock. . The letter "E" in the marking insulator PDS-70s denotes the index modification insulator and indirectly characterizes the period of issuance. . Thus insulators PDS-70, PDS-70A, PDS-70B, 70B-PDS, PDS-70g PDS-70D are now obsolete and are not allowed. ???-70?: Standards shipment insulators PDS-70s: : 100 pcs container 3t: 200, container 5t: 500 pieces
