After ridding their roster of the last SW1500s at the end of 2009, TRRA has replaced them with a handful of rebuilt GP38-3s. Two of them have been painted in TRRA's new paint scheme. Today, we happened upon the pair being placed along the East Saint Louis riverfront for a company photo shoot. This is the third of six shots I took from an observation deck at a newly built park and other nearby vantage points. The statue is the guy who donated the money for the park. I should have taken note of his name, but I did not do so. The kid on the left was just some stray we found wandering in the park, so we figured we could use him for a prop. I was hesitant to pick him up, though, knowing that my scent might scare his mother away (truthfully, my scent, fragrance, aroma, whatever you want to call it, often scares his mother away.) 2/25/2010.
