Origin: Columbus Georgia 1905 Union Bottling Works was formed. There first name change was Chero-Cola in 1912. Second name change was Nehi Corporation in 1928 (Brent, are you that OLD?). After the introduction of it's popular Royal Crown Cola in 1933 it changed names for the third time to Royal Crown Company. R.C. is said to be the first company that nationally distributed soft drinks in a can, year 1954.
