The color is totally wrong...this insulator is light blue (or some similar descriptor). The warped part is immediately behind the embossing and shows up from outside so this piece would display well. The backwards number on crown is "double-stamped" Remainder of embossing is good and strong (compared to many of the crown embossed brookfield 145's). I purchased it before Christmas in Springfield MO at an indoor flea. I should have bought the entire barrel of insulators but was short on time so I just picked some better ones and didn't find this deformity until couple days ago (January 3, 2010).
