Here are both birds perched above while we walk below trying to kick up rabbits from the underbrush. They know that sooner or later a meal on four legs will jump out from under our feet and make a run for it. Interesting tidbits: Harris hawks are native to the southwestern US and are the only hawks to team up in a coordinated effort in a hunt.

It's a steely gray day and not the best for taking pictures.
