These two relics still work for Alton & Southern Railway. While Union Pacific has pretty much sidelined all of their SD40-2s, a few still see service. These work for ALS, which is controlled by UP. Once a workhorse in the fleet, these have been replaced by newer units. 9/11/2009, Mitchell, IL.
