Hemingray No. 9 / Patent May 1893 Note there is no number 2 for the May date... "PATENT MAY 1893" There also is a backwards " N" in the " HEMINGRAY No 9 " .The color is a very nice light aqua...The letters are all hand chiseled out in the steel mold..I can see ripples like where the tool was scraped to make the letters and numbers...I picked this up at the National in Iowa this year and a great addition to my Hemingray No. 9 & 12 collection...It wasn't cheap thou...enjoy the picture...
