I like building up these small low powered (2 watts or less) tube amplifiers, using mostly salvaged / recycled parts from old radios, TVs, etc. Waste not, want not.

The tubes in this one are two 6S4As (used as TV set vertical deflection amplifiers) and one 12AX7, twin triode used extensively in hifi and guitar amps.

This one sounds amazingly good for such a simple circuit. Less is sometimes more...
