Not a real great picture of the locomotive my grandfather helped build the railway for but the best I got. This picture was taken by my uncle, Don Gay [ older brother of Dick Gay ] in 1938. Recently, I posted a picture of a commerative piece of track, given to my Grandfather, Edward O. Gay. Here is the link.[id=236542668] [id=236541969] This is Baldwin Locomotive # 8, built in 1924. Check out just above the "plow" the # 8. This locomotive rolled off the track and was cut up for scrap to help the war effort.
