British Columbia Electric Railway car 1304 is seen arriving and ready to be set down on the track of the Fraser Valley Heritage Railway in Surrey, (suburban Vancouver) British Columbia. This was a major news event on April 25, 2009 in that region and many people showed up for this "Homecoming". Many folks were just "beside themselves" to see this happen after over 50 years! The railway is actually the original interurban route but still used for freight. FVHRS will restore the car to operation using a tag-along power generator.
