BCER car 1304 was towed out to the appropriate lift-off spot with our electric switch engine. [id=247325759] The power in the overhead wire was then killed and the preparation work began. Two cranes lifted the heavy car body off of the wheel sets and raised it high enough to just have the roof touch the dead overhead wire. The wheel sets were pushed out to be prepared and transported by a second motor truck and trailer. Here the car is sitting in position ready to lift. She's a beauty, eh?
