Springtime fungi clusters.

One more thing I love about spring, mushrooms! These were clustered on the stump of a dead flowering crab apple that blew down a year ago. These might be a member of the Amanita family and still have the remnants of the ring hanging from the cap's edges. This cluster in it's entirety is the diameter of a bushel basket. Are they edible? I am not going to experiment.....
