An unwelcome spring visitor.

These guys, not so cute n fuzzy like tiny spiders. Meaning pure business by being well colored and armed for defense is this wood chewing paper wasp. Frequently you'll see these hornets around barns and old homes eating the wood fibers off the siding which they take back, chew and mix with saliva, then they intricately create their paper nests with the pulp. This one was chewing fiber off the old table out back I use for photos.
