I used the pins salvaged from a maintenance job on a 60 KV pole line for this display. Suspensions and multi-parts go together so this seemed to work. I used a 2" planetary bit to bore the holes in the pole and used cross arm pins for four locations. The other three spots were filled using pole top or "king" pins. The extra pins are for new finds.
