I recently found out in the antique shop I bought this in that it was found at the old Greenville, SC dump. A new bank building is going up on Academy St. here in Greenville and the old city dump was there. The man at the antique shop told me they dumped the dirt from the construction site near a cement plant. He did not want to tell me where it was located but said the insulator I bought a few weeks ago was found in that dirt pile along with lots of glass bottles. The insulator shows it has been buryed for a long time and this is why. It is unique for that reason to me.
