I posted photos in the "hunts and Finds" section of this insulator as I found it. Thanks, Paul for identifying this as a bubble and Lee for the information on the vaporizing of metal in these insulators. It looks like this was a wire that vaporized due to the extreme heat. One of the wonders of the latter day Brookfields.
