Here is a classic quilt finished in 1999. The pattern is 'Aunt Sukey's Choice'. It was hand made by my late mother-Marie Colburn. She was an avid hand quilter from the 1940s (or earlier!) to the early 2000's. She did not machine the quilting, it is ALL hand done! She spent an amazing amount of time on her projects. I own just two or three of her quilts. This is easily one of her best quilts. View the close up version, and look at the hand stitching along the borders!
