This photo shows some of the cross top variations on the top shelf. The two on the left are sorta in-between types, as I've been calling them Single Grooves, yet obviously they have a small cross groove. The second from the right has a weird gray glaze mixed in with the white. The lower shelf starts with a nice spool on its proper bracket. The next two are Kretzer 'saddle types'. These are embossed on the base: PATENTED MAY 13, 1902. The one on the right also is embossed on top: KRETZER BRAND. Neat pieces, not too uncommon. The fourth and fifth from the left are neat types with built-in metal clamps. The next one has a copper band loosely fit in it to hold the lightning rod or cable. Far right is an odd single groove variant. |
