A very popular radio in the 1930's was the cathedral style radio, many of which were made by Philco. This is a fairly common model 89. These sets have pretty good audio, sounding as good as many large console sets. This one had to be totally rewired since mice had chewed off all the insulation. Surprisingly the speaker was intact.
