Sometimes, I am utterly amazed at how small the world has become in the internet age! A few days ago, I reminisced on ICON:

"I attended at least two Bakersfield shows. I remember Dee Willett as an incredibly kind, slightly built, elderly man, quick with a smile, wearing his ever present bolo tie with a mineral specimen as a centerpiece."

Imagine my surprise when a fellow ICONer, Mike Guthrie, emailed me actual photos of Dee Willett's bolo tie! Mike and Dee were close, and Mike acquired his bolo tie after Dee passed away. Almost 30 years have passed since I last saw this tie. Thanks to Mike for providing these photos!
